My Go-To Blueberry Smoothie

First and foremost, happy Friday to you all!

We have two very special guests staying with us this weekend so I am one happy gal.

I’m keeping it short and simple for you all this Friday.

I have been really loving my smoothies lately especially now that I have reintroduced bananas back into my diet. I have been mixing up lots of different concoctions but have found one that has become my go-to smoothie.

I never really measure out the ingredients, I prefer to “eyeball” them, but I did my best to estimate the correct measurements per ingredient so you can try making it at home yourself!

My Go-To Blueberry Smoothie

  • about 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4-1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • handful of kale
  • spoonful of hemp protein powder
  • spoonful of raw cacao powder
  • spoonful of almond butter
  • touch of stevia
  • 1/2-1 cup almond milk

Give it a good whirl in your blender or Nutribullet until completely blended. Enjoy as an on-the-go breakfast or a perfectly healthy afternoon snack!

Warning: Be careful drinking this smoothie when wearing white clothes! I usually play it safe by wearing an apron in the car if I’m taking it on the go. Nerd alert.

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday! xoxo

It adds a nice little sweetness! Back at ya babe. Can’t wait to see you again!

  1. Smoothies are one of my favorite things – especially in the summer. I usually keep it pretty simple with a mix of yogurt, OJ and frozen fruit.

Num, that reminds me of Orange Julius’! Have you ever had one of those? Incredible.

The nutribullet makes smoothie making so much more enjoyable because it is so quick and the clean up is so easy! I love bananas too!

Hi, can you give exact amounts on this? I have no concept of correct mixes…
also, I only have a tiny magic bullet..will be that be sufficient? Again thanks, and hope u can email me!!

Hi there! I did my best to guess the measurements for this smoothie. Don’t be afraid to throw things into the mix. It’s hard to mess smoothies up too bad. Good luck!

Thanks. I hope my magic bullet is okay. I have no idea how to properly mix smoothies ingredients and think I overcomplicate it. Wondering about avocado additions, etc. Oh my, so much to figure out!
