You Grill Girl {Giveaway–CLOSED}

I’ve never been much of a fan of hot dogs. I would eat them every so often wayyyy back in the day, but once I found out what they were made of, I had a hard time getting past that. I had heard of all beef hot dogs but didn’t really give them much thought. That is until Applegate reached out to me recently.

They wanted me to try their all natural hot dogs, along with Sir Kensington’s natural ketchup and mustard. They also sent me potato buns and a ton of other goodies!!

Check out the loot!

I agreed to try their hot dogs because Applegate’s natural hot dogs are made of only grass-fed beef, water, salt and spices. THAT IS IT!  No artificial ingredients, synthetic nitrates, or antibiotics in these hot dogs.

Naturally, I had to wear the apron they gave me while “womaning” the grill.

Side track, let’s talk about Sir Kensington’s for a sec. Why I do I love their products? Let’s start with the ketchup. It has less sugar, less salt and real recognizable ingredients: Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Organic Sugar, Onions, Organic Distilled Vinegar, Salt, Lime Juice Concentrate, Green Bell Peppers, Allspice, Citric Acid

Their yellow mustard is just as delicious and made up of: Mustard Paste (Water, Organic White Vinegar, Mustard Seed), Water, Mustard Seed, Organic White Vinegar, Salt, Organic Sugar, Chablis Wine

They also have mayo which I would love to try!

I promise there is a hot dog underneath those condiments! I LOVE ketchup. I love ketchup on my ketchup.

So besides making me happy nutritionally, they also made my belly happy. These babes are tasty! I would love to cook these over a campfire! They have so many hot dogs to choose from like turkey hot dogs, chicken hot dogs, beef and pork hot dogs, and more. How could you get bored with all of these varieties available?

  1. This is so ironic! I had a craving for hot dogs recently so decided to buy the beef ones! I am a mustard fan myself, so I would love to try not only MORE of Applegates products, including their cheese, but ALSO that delicious looking mustard 🙂

  2. I have a confession… I secretly LOVE hot dogs but refuse to eat them because of their icky ingredients. THESE dogs I can get down with 🙂 🙂 So, I’d want to try the hot dogs the most of all! Yummmmm!

  3. Oh I LOVE applegate hot dogs! It’s the only brand I buy. Seriously. Huge fan right here. As for the ketchups and mustard, I have not tried the Sir Kensington brand, so I’d be more than happy to add that to my favorite hot dog. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

  4. My boyfriend and I just were talking about trying this brand of hot dog! Its actually on my grocery list! I just want to try the Natural Uncured Beef Hot Dog, with all the fixings of course!

  5. I love hotdogs but have the hardest time finding healthier versions. These sound and look great..I would definitely like to give them a try! Thanks : )

  6. Yum those hot dogs sound delicious. I’d love to try those beef ones. I love hot dogs but I don’t eat them much because I know how bad most of them are.

  7. Hi my Mel! Hope you are having a great summer 🙂 Miss you lots!!!

    I agree with you on the ketchup on my ketchup! Especially with fries 😀 I would try the Applegate great organic beef hot dog and would make their California Dog Recipe! yum!

  8. I would LOVE to try any of the Applegate hot dogs because I have been searching everywhere for a perfect, natural “dog” (no pun intended). I have a chronic health issue where I cannot eat regular hot dogs anymore, so this would be a treat to have 😀
